Unity In Diversity

Who We Are

Tamil Sangam of Hampton Roads is a registered non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. We aim to connect the Tamil people in and around Hampton Roads of Virginia. The purpose of Tamil Sangam is to promote Culture, Art, Literature and Tamil Language. TSHR is not a religious organization. It is an association for any Tamil people beyond race, caste, and religion. Our motto is “Unity in Diversity”.

How we're helping

We are a community-based organization focused on bringing unity among Tamil people to achieve our common goal of keeping, preserving and researching our literature and culture through Tamil language.

The Committee

Tamil Sangam Hampton Roads runs under the leadership of the Committee comprised of Sivakumar, Raji Thevaraj, Ganesh Kamatchi, Siva Vellapan, and Shaker AR.
